Battle of Armageddon

Prophecies of the middle east, the collide of two worlds.

Jesus Christ actually taught on this.

¹⁵“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’^[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— ¹⁶then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

He that hath not seen harods temple, had not seen a beautiful temple in their life… Jesus Christ said that it was all going to come down and not one stone would be left.  His disciples asked him, when when when….
Jesus Christ spent the rest of the 24th chapter of matthew explaining this.

On the mount of olives, Jesus talked to them about the Abomination of Desolation.  He also refers to Daniel and what he talked about.  This will happen in the temple on the mount.

When this happens, this will start the time of tribulation.

Jesus Christ told his followers that when you see this happen, tell the people in Judea to flee to the mountians.  Now in 1967 isreal captured the west bank area, the biblical area of judea.  They built settlements there because they belive that it is their God given homeland.  The palestinians wnat that land back, and thre are two resolutions that have been past that agree with the palestinians.  A lot of people think isreal is in violation of an international law.  The abomination of desolation will ignite a fury from the palestinian people and the people of judea will flee, according to Jesus Christ, and he even tells them not to even go back to your house, just to flee.

The Man of Lawlessness

¹Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, ²not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. ³Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for (that day will not come) until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness^[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. ⁴He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

Paul tells us the time frame, the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ.
Paul tells us about a man called the man of prudition, and the man of sin.  This is the antichrist, the little horn, the beast, ect.

How do we know paul is telling us about the abomination of desolation?
he is telling us that it will happen in the temple, just as Christ taught that it was going to happen in the temple.

Anytime God says he will do something, satan tries to do the same and better. Never happens, but in the end time, God said he will put his name in Jersulem.. Satan is trying to do so as well.

ANSWER TO QUESTION – when the antichrist claims to be God
- the Abomination of Desolation

Will the antichrist actually stand up and say ” I am God”?
He may say something along the lines of himself being sovrign and he may take claim to that area as king.  The word soverign acutally means Godly….

2 – What does the “one week” mean?

In Daniel 7:25

Daniel 9:27 (New International Version)

²⁷ He will confirm a covenant with many for one ’seven.’ ^[a] In the middle of the ’seven’ ^[b] he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. ^[c] ” ^[d]

This happens in the middle of the week, thus beginning the great tribulation.

How long does the tribulation last?
Daniel 7:25

²⁵ He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time. ^[a]

The “HE” in this refers to the anti christ.

In Revelation 13:5

⁵The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months.

in daniel the time is : time, times, and dividing of time.

but in revelation john expresses it in 42 months which is 3 & 1.5 years.

in daniel since we know time = 1 year and times = 2 years and time dividing of times = half a year that is 3 & 1.5 years.

which is 3 & 1.5 years.

One final passage Revelation 12:14

¹⁴The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach.

It now uses the old termanology to express the same time frame.

This is where we think that the USA will be along side isreal.

The USA’s veto has been the only thing that has kept Isreal from being destroyed.  The UN is trying to kill Isreal, and the USA has stopped it at 14:1.  That is why the UN wants to ripp all the veto powers from the nations so they can enforce and use the troops and power from their council to carry out their plans for World government.

The UN brought up what they believe Zionism = Rascism.  This will be a point of prosecution in the Tribulation.  All the international criminal courts started up in 2002.

3 – What is the covenant? (triggers the final years of the tribulation)

God made a covenant with Abraham.

God gave abraham the land of isreal.

Philestian = Palestinian
the war between the isrealies and the palestinians have been going on for over 3000 years.

This could be the covenant that daniel speaks of in daniel 9:7.
